A typographic film exploring the thousands of books available to buy and read on the latest Sony E-Reader.
Labmeta were commisioned to produce a typographic journey through a mixture of classical and modern texts that were available for Sony's new E-Reader. Type and colour were designed to fill a void with a tapestry of words and literature, leading to a product reveal as the final frame. Graphics and images were reflected and refracted into the space as a virtual sun went down amongst a white forest environment.
D-Fuse were working with Fallon and Freestate to produce an audiovisual experience at the IFA trade for Sony. The trade fair environment was constructed to showcase large scale projections of 8 different commissioned films, each one exploring a Sony product.
The Sony Reader Film went on to be published as part of the “Design Type” book available on Burgess Press.
